Miami’s summer heat is no joke, and last month marked the warmest May ever recorded. As we brace for hotter days in June, July, and beyond, Downtown Miami and Wynwood offer countless opportunities to keep cool and entertained. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, check out these indoor activities to stay refreshed and engaged during the sweltering season.
Downtown Miami
1. Visit the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and Frost Science Museum
Beat Miami’s high temperatures with a trip to two top cultural attractions. At PAMM, enjoy vibrant contemporary art, including works by Marcela Cantuária on display until July 28th. Admire artworks made entirely from LEGO® bricks, featuring re-imagined masterpieces such as Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. 3. Enjoy Concerts at the Kaseya Center
Visit the Kaseya Center to enjoy your favorite artists in comfort. This June, the lineup features Luis Miguel on the 8th and 9th, Justin Timberlake on the 15th, Blink-182 on the 21st, and Aventura on the 25th and 26th. In July, the Kaseya Center also offers an all-access tour of the venue and Miami Heat facilities, giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into one of Miami’s key sports and entertainment hubs.
